eRampage (eDuke32 port)

Redneck Rampage on Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista, XP.Crazy first person shooter with a lot of hilarious hillbilly stuff in it. The game was released in the transition period between DOS and Windows 95 and can be run on both platforms. Nowadays, the game runs ok with DOSBox, with a reasonable resolution. However, there's a source port available, based on the eDuke32 port. Works great!

Attention: the eRampage port seems unstable. Please report all bugs and problems found in the version mentioned below to the current maintainer and help get this project bug free. You can also try and download the previous version here. Installation instructions can be found here.

    • Set it to RIDESAGAIN if you want to play Redneck Rampage Rides Again
    • Set it to ROUTE66 if you want to play Suckin' Grits on Route 66 (if installed)

Great! But what do I do when I reach Bubba at the end of a level?

Bubba's yer brother. You'll see him at the end of each level. You have to hit him with yer crowbar to end the level. The crowbar is yer basic weapon you always carry around. To use it, press 1.

I don't know what REDNECK.GRP is. Cannot find this file on the original CD.

If it's not on the CD, you should install the game to your hard disk first and look for the REDNECK.GRP file there. You'll most probably need DOSBox to do this. Here is a tutorial to install a game from CD with DOSBox, it's about Tomb Raider, but basicly applies to all other games. If that doesn't work for you, you can always buy a copy at GoG.com... It should install fine on modern OSes!

It seems this "latest" version of ERampage is quite unstable. Please contact the current maintainer if you experience any problems and help improve the software.
