Free Atari 8-bit Games

Atari 8-bit games: Blue Max, Alley Cat, Boulder Dash, Rescue on Fractalus, Star Raiders, Jumpman, Bruce Lee.Games for Atari 8-bit computers (like the Atari 400, Atari 800, Atari 1200XL, 600XL and 800XL) were released on cassette tapes and 5.25" floppy disks, which have been converted for PC to files with .CAS, .ATR, .DCM, .ATX, .XFD and .PRO extensions and can only be run with an emulator like the one mentioned below. There are several websites from where you can download these cassette files, disk files or ROMs.

Though freely available, many of these games are still copyrighted. This means that you're officially allowed to play the game, only when you own the original.
