Redneck Rampage on Windows
Play Redneck Rampage with eRampage (eDuke32 port)
Crazy first person shooter with a lot of hilarious hillbilly stuff in it. The game was released in the transition period between DOS and Windows 95 and can be run on both platforms. Nowadays, the game runs ok with DOSBox, with a reasonable resolution. However, there's a source port available, based on the eDuke32 port. Works great!
Attention: the eRampage port seems unstable. Please report all bugs and problems found in the version mentioned below to the current maintainer and help get this project bug free. You can also try and download the previous version here. Installation instructions can be found here.

Basic needs
- You'll need the original game file(s) REDNECK.GRP of Redneck Rampage and/or Redneck Rampage Rides Again
- If you have the Suckin' Grits On Route 66 expansion pack, you'll need the RT66.GRP file from the expansion pack and the game file REDNECK.GRP from Redneck Rampage

Installation of eRampage
- Download the eRampage zip file
- Copy the contents of the zip file in an empty folder of choice, in this case d:\games\erampage.
- If you have Redneck Rampage (RR):
- Copy REDNECK.GRP from RR to the eRampage folder, in this case d:\games\erampage
- During Erampage Setup select 'Custom game content directory' named REDNECK.
- If you have Redneck Rampage Rides Again (RRRA):
- Copy REDNECK.GRP from RRRA to the eRampage folder, in this case d:\games\erampage
- During Erampage Setup select 'Custom game content directory' named RIDESAGAIN
- If you have both RR and RRRA:
- Copy REDNECK.GRP from RRRA to the eRampage folder, in this case d:\games\erampage
- Copy REDNECK.GRP from RR to the REDNECK folder, in this case d:\games\erampage\REDNECK
- During Erampage Setup select 'Custom game content directory' named RIDESAGAIN to play Rides Again or REDNECK to play Redneck Rampage
- If you have RR and the Suckin' Grits on Route 66 expansion pack:
- Copy REDNECK.GRP from RR to the eRampage folder, in this case d:\games\erampage
- Copy REDNECK.GRP from RR to the ROUTE66 folder, in this case d:\games\erampage\ROUTE66
- Copy RT66.GRP from Route 66 to the ROUTE66 folder, in this case d:\games\erampage\ROUTE66
- During Erampage Setup select 'Custom game content directory' named REDNECK to play Redneck Rampage or ROUTE66 to play Route 66
- If you have RR, RRRA and the Route 66 expansion pack:
- Copy REDNECK.GRP from RRRA to the eRampage folder, in this case d:\games\erampage
- Copy REDNECK.GRP from RR to the REDNECK folder, in this case d:\games\erampage\REDNECK
- Copy REDNECK.GRP from RR to the ROUTE66 folder (!), in this case d:\games\erampage\ROUTE66
- Copy RT66.GRP from Route 66 to the ROUTE66 folder, in this case d:\games\erampage\ROUTE66
- During Erampage Setup select 'Custom game content directory' named REDNECK to play Redneck Rampage, RIDES AGAIN to play RRRA or ROUTE66 to play Route 66
Start and configure eRampage
- Start eRampage by double clicking the erampage.exe file in the game folder, in this case d:\games\redneck
- Wait for the launcher to start, then set video mode, check full screen
- Do not check polymer, the game is (still) very unstable with this renderer
- Check Enable autoload folder
- Set the games content directory:
- Set it to REDNECK if you want to play Redneck Rampage
- Set it to RIDESAGAIN if you want to play Redneck Rampage Rides Again
- Set it to ROUTE66 if you want to play Suckin' Grits on Route 66 (if installed)
- Start the game by pressing the Start button
- Don't forget to check the options menu in the game and set video/renderer settings to the max!
Great! But what do I do when I reach Bubba at the end of a level?
Bubba's yer brother. You'll see him at the end of each level. You have to hit him with yer crowbar to end the level. The crowbar is yer basic weapon you always carry around. To use it, press 1.
